What if we could stop multiple sclerosis before it started?

What is CELLO?How can I participate?
The CELLO study is being conducted to determine if we can slow or stop a condition called ” Radiologically Isolated Syndrome” (RIS) from progressing on to MS. People with RIS have brain MRI abnormalities similar to those found in patients with MS, but typically have no MS symptoms. However, within 10 years up to 50% of people with RIS do go on to develop MS. This study is testing whether giving a short course of immune suppressing medication to people with RIS might prevent MS symptoms from ever developing in them.

If you have been diagnosed with RIS or are a close family member of someone with MS, you may be eligible to participate in this study.

Eligibility
